Editorial policy

The words on this site are written for Tatuo and checked against our own packs before they are published. Counts, sizes and materials come from what the pack states. Where the pack says nothing, the site says nothing.

Where a sentence carries a number, that number is read from our own product list rather than being carried over from an older version of the page. A figure and the range it describes cannot drift apart.

Photographs are of the products themselves. We do not use interior scenes that contain none of our goods, and we do not enlarge a photograph beyond the size we hold it in.

Ratings and reviews

Star ratings belong to a product family, because a family of colors or sizes shares one pool of customer ratings. We show one product per family for the same reason: counting the same pool five times would inflate every total on the page.

Where we have no rating for a product, no stars appear. There is no placeholder, no zero and no rounded-up guess.
